Welcome to StitchyBee (the “App”), operated by QuarkyLabs (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the App. By using StitchyBee, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Personal Information We Collect:
    We do not directly request or collect personal information (such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers) from users within the StitchyBee App.

  • Automatically Collected Information (AdMob):
    We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements in StitchyBee. Google AdMob may collect certain device information automatically, which can include:

    • Device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID, iOS Identifier for Advertisers/IDFA)

    • IP address

    • App usage data (how often you use the app, etc.)

    • General location data (e.g., country or region), if enabled at the OS level

    This information may be used by Google AdMob to serve interest-based or personalized ads, depending on your device settings or local regulations (e.g., GDPR/CCPA prompts).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Advertising:
    We display advertisements in StitchyBee using Google AdMob. Any data collected by Google AdMob is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and their service-specific policies.

  • App Promotion (Our Other Apps):
    StitchyBee may occasionally displays image tiles promoting our other apps or services. These tiles link out to external webpages or app store listings. We do not collect personal user data related to these promotions, nor do we track individual clicks or user behavior. We may, however, view aggregate click data (e.g., total link clicks) through third-party deep-link services like Branch.io, without storing or processing any personal identifiers.

3. Data Retention

  • StitchyBee:
    Because we do not collect personal data in the App, we do not store or retain your personal information on our servers.

  • AdMob:
    Google AdMob may retain certain aggregated or device-level data in accordance with their own policies. We do not control Google’s retention practices. Please refer to Google AdMob’s documentation and Google’s Privacy Policy for more information.

4. Sharing of Information

  • Third-Party Advertising Partner:
    We integrate Google AdMob in StitchyBee. Any sharing of information happens directly between your device and Google’s servers. We do not directly share any additional user data with Google.

  • External Links:
    When you tap on promotional tiles for our other app or a partner’s website, you may be directed to an external site or app store. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any external sites, so please review their respective policies.

5. Your Choices

  • Opting Out of Personalized Ads
    If you wish to opt out of AdMob’s personalized ads, you can do so by adjusting your device or account settings:

    • On Android: Settings → Google → Ads → “Opt out of Ads Personalization”

    • On iOS: Settings → Privacy → Apple Advertising, or Settings → Privacy → Tracking (depending on iOS version)
      You may also reset your device’s advertising identifier at any time.

  • Limit or Disable Ads
    We may offer a premium subscription option that removes ads. If you choose to subscribe, all ads (including in-app promotional tiles from us) will be removed, in line with our “ad-free” offering.

6. Children’s Privacy

StitchyBee is not primarily directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information transmitted within the App. However, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any data transmitted or stored electronically.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the StitchyBee App or on our website, and the “Last Updated” date at the top will be revised accordingly. Your continued use of StitchyBee after any updates indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
